Dr. Elizabeth Pritts and Dr. David Olive are parents to two girls adopted from Haiti. Taina, now 9 years old, and Midlyne, 6 years old, came to live in Wisconsin in December of 2008. Both girls came from a village that was at the epicenter of the earthquake that occurred on January 12, 2010.
They have been to Haiti nearly a dozen times over the past 4 years, both to adopt and to help the community through an organization called Family Health Ministries. They now have friends throughout the impoverished country, and their daughters have family members there.
They continue to visit the country on medical trips, and rebuilding trips. Click here to get more information regarding these endeavors.
