Increasing evidence supports the use of acupuncture on the day of embryo transfer during an IVF cycle.  Many patients wonder if they should utilize acupuncture and Chinese medicine in combination with Advanced Reproductive Technologies (ART).  The seminar will highlight numerous ways that acupuncture, in conjunction with Chinese medicine can facilitate the IVF process.  In addition, the seminar will examine recent research that shows a 35-42% pregnancy rate when acupuncture is used on the day of embryo transfer.

About the speaker:  Lynn Van Airsdale, a licensed acupuncturist and certified Chinese herbalist, practices at Red Sage Health and the Center for Conceiving Health in Madison, Wisconsin.  She offers on-site acupuncture for couples on the day of embryo transfer at the Wisconsin Fertility Institute.  During this seminar, she will address the most frequently asked patient questions regarding the combination of acupuncture and IVF.  Lynn strives to be a supportive resource for patients on this integrative path towards pregnancy.
